You can see the detail, you can feel the weight
The headdresses, the folds of the linen, the hieroglyphs on the obelisk: half-millimetre details, sharp and legible to the naked eye. And each piece has a weight in the hand that entry-level sets don't have — it's often the first thing you notice when opening the box.
Finishes
Black & White — sober, contrasted, faithful to the spirit of the game.
Gold & Silver — warmer, more decorative. For Egypt, gold makes sense.
The finish applies to the pieces: the board is black and white in both cases.
The felt under the bases is available as an option: it protects the board and removes the noise of moving pieces.
A compact format, and we own it
Our squares are 32 mm while the tournament standard is 50-57 mm. This is an object designed for a coffee table or a shelf, not for a club. We prefer to say so before you order.
